Entries Closing Soon for Formula Vintage at Mallory Park

As we gear up for Cadwell Park this coming weekend, don’t forget entries are closing soon for the next round of Formula Vintage at the fantastic Mallory Park with Round 4 on Saturday 12 August.
Always one of the most popular events of the year, the famed Leicestershire venue provides the perfect backdrop for the Club’s special programme of Pre-war and Historic racing for Competitors and Spectators alike.
The day will see the Club celebrate the distinguished career of local hero Bob Gerard, with the usual ‘Set’ Trophy Races for Vintage, Pre-1961 and Pre-war Sports-Cars, whilst we also look forward to the incredible Pre-1918 machinery taking centre stage once more in the annual Dick Baddiley Trophy Handicap Race for Edwardian Cars – the only race of its kind in the world – which Club Sponsors, Bonhams will again be supporting on the day.
Adding to the day’s VSCC content, we also host the prestigious John Taylor Memorial Trophy for Formula Junior, as well as Invited grids for the ever-popular 500 Owners Association’s F3(500) Racing Cars and the Morgan Three Wheeler Club.
Following the traditional morning Practice Sessions, the afternoon’s Race Programme will include:
Race Entry Fees: from £130 (½ price for those VSCC Members under 30 years on 1 January 2017)
Entries Close: Monday 31 July (late entries may be accepted where available and will incur a late admin fee).
Download Supplementary Regulations and an Entry Form, the latter to print, complete and return to the Office (email/fax accepted) or enter online from the Event page (CLICK HERE). Remember you will need to know the Buff Form number of the car you wish to enter and have a current payment card registered with the Club to use the online entry facility.

SPECTATOR INFORMATION
Aside from the exciting action on track, ‘Formula Vintage’ will again offer the Spectator all that is great about attending a VSCC Race Meeting, with free access to the Paddock, where you can get up-close to the cars and drivers.
Club Members will enjoy exclusive access to the VSCC Members’ Lounge in the suites overlooking the Start/Finish straight and will also be able to claim a free Event Programme on the day, all upon production of a 2017 VSCC Membership Card.
The day will also include a host of other Vintage-themed entertainment for the whole family, including a special Edwardian Display in the Paddock from our Club Sponsors, Bonhams, the traditional Trade Village, and the usual dedicated Vintage and Classic Car display area (including another free Pre-war Concours competition).
Advance tickets are on sale now, with significant savings on the ‘on the day’ prices:
