Tuesday 23 June 2015
Motorsport fans only have until Tuesday 30 June to get 10% off their tickets to the Chateau Impney Hill Climb, taking place in Droitwich on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July.
Day, Weekend and free Child tickets are available now for the UK’s newest motorsport event, which was recently chosen as one of ten ‘must-see motorsport events of the Summer’ by The Sunday Times.
The weekend-long event provides Spectators with an opportunity to see 200 competitors in a vast array of Classic Cars tackle a brand new hill climb course in an effort to write their names in a new chapter of the venue’s motorsport history.
Full Class listings for the event are now available to view on the Chateau Impney Hill Climb website, and the picturesque Chateau is set to welcome some of the most competitive driver/car combinations on the Historic circuit to its grounds. Spectators can look forward to seeing a Monaco Historic-winning Alfa Romeo P3 Tipo B compete alongside Pre-war Grand Prix Bugatti Type 35s, over half of the world’s remaining ERAs, and a number of 1950s Sports Cars, including C-Type and D-Type Jaguars. The line-up also features the highly-anticipated 100-year-old, 28-litre Fiat S76, otherwise known as the ‘Beast of Turin’, which will be driven for one of the first times in 100 years when it competes at Chateau Impney.
The event will also include a comprehensive Concours d’Elegance that will see its winner chosen by public vote, featuring a 1992 Jaguar XK220, a unique 1931 No. 5 Birkin ‘Blower’ Bentley, and the two rare Ferraris that will be sold by specialist auctioneers H&H Classics to raise proceeds for the RNLI. There will also be more than 100 dealer and trade stands available at the event, including local food and drink producers, together with the major Classic Car Auction, hosted by H&H.
Rod Spollon, Chairman of the Chateau Impney Hill Climb Club, said: “Judging by the feedback we’ve received so far, the Chateau Impney Hill Climb is one of the most anticipated events of the summer.”
“We are excited to welcome all manner of Veteran, Edwardian, Vintage and Classic Cars to take part in the Hill Climb, with many seasoned competitors and up-and-coming drivers hoping to make history by claiming the first course records.”
“We are particularly looking forward to welcoming back the numerous cars that competed in period and we hope that this heritage, combined with the Chateau’s wonderful setting, will make for a very exciting and dramatic event,” he added.
Tickets for the inaugural Hill Climb start from £20 per adult, and children under 16 go free with a ticket-holding adult. To purchase tickets, call 01905 77 44 11 or visit www.chateauimpneyhillclimb.com
