Everything you need to blast up a Hillclimb

Speed events pit drivers against the clock on a set course, aiming to be the fastest in their Class. Sprints are on flat tracks, while Hill Climbs are on gradient courses. Drivers get two practice runs and two competition runs. These events feature Pre-War and some Post-War cars, with entries ranging from 100 to over 250 participants.

What You Need:

From 16 years old

Speed Licence (Online application via Motorsport UK)

Helmet, Gloves, Overalls

Buff Form (online application via VSCC)

What Your Car Needs:

Water & Oil catch tank

Marked ignition off

Secured Battery

Throttle Return Spring x2

Taped lights (advised but not required)

Optional - Fire Extinguisher (2kg Powder or 2.4L Foam)
