Start your Race Season at Silverstone Circuit!

The High Speed Trial is back! A race for the slower cars on the grid or newcomers, the High Speed Trial ensures fierce competition between cars of similar performance. The 30-minute Trial consists of a target number of laps that each driver has to reach depending on the engine capacity and age of their car - the newer your car or bigger the engine capacity, the more laps you will have to do to complete the Trial. Not only this but as part of the challenge, halfway through the Trial, drivers have to pit and change a spark plug before returning back to the circuit. 

This Class is perfect for cars that cannot quite keep up with the fully race prepared, large displacement cars out on the circuit, and in an effort to make racing more accessible the Club are waving the entry fee for anyone that has not raced with us before. This race may not be the quickest, but we’re sure there will still be some close and enjoyable action, and hopefully a flurry of new drivers and cars to enhance the already varied grids.
