A Round-Up of The Pomeroy Trophy
Friday 07 March 2025
The Pomeroy Trophy once again proved why it is one of the most unique and eclectic events in motorsport, with a bumper entry featuring cars spanning over 100 years of motoring history from 1913 to 2022. We were delighted to welcome Richard and Izzy Hammond, who made their competitive head to head debut with us.
It was also fantastic to see that around 20% of our competitors were under 30, showing that there is no shortage of enthusiasm for vintage motorsport among the next generation. With this being the fourth of over 40 events we will be running this year, the season is shaping up to be an exciting one, and we look forward to welcoming even more competitors and spectators in the months ahead.

The second session of the high speed trials saw Duncan Pittaway and Lewis Packham circulating at the same time and the respectful battle to keep track position and make sure they got their target laps was a joy, as was the sight of a gaggle of Nashes slip sliding around Brooklands. The 1965 GT40 was a crowd favourite.
Carnatter have an arrangement with Silverstone and a crowd of new faces joined us to spectate, the positive feedback has been wonderful.
