We have heard from Peter Glover’s immediate family and they have been overwhelmed by the number of calls, messages and emails in response to the news of his death. They are hugely grateful for all of the kind words said about Peter and about his contribution to the VSCC. 

As per Peter’s wishes, his funeral will be a private service for family and close friends. Also in line with his wishes and those of his children Kate and Robert, the family, together with the assistance of the VSCC will be organising a social function to commemorate and celebrate Peter’s life within the VSCC. 

The invitation for this event will be sent club-wide in due course once arrangements have been made. It is hoped that the event will take place at a VSCC event over the summer to encourage club members to bring their vintage cars and enjoy swapping stories about Peter over some food and drinks. 

The family thank the club membership for their kind support of Peter and respectfully ask that some-time be allowed for them to grieve their loss.
