Baxter sets Harewood Pace and takes new Class Record
Monday 03 June 2013
This year’s Harewood Hill Climb was always going to be a thrilling event with local hill climb ace, James Baxter at the wheel of his new Sprints and Hill Climb tool, ERA R4A. James put all his knowledge to excellent use and shaved 7 hundreths of a second off the class record that Robert Cobden set back in 2008 in his Riley Falcon Special, with a time of 68.18.
Competitors enjoyed three runs in the afternoon which saw Ewen Geltey clinch the Bentley Class, beating the record he set last year by an amazing 1 tenth of a second! Charles Gillett warmed up for his busy weekend coming up at VSCC Cadwell park by winning Class V3 in his Frazer Nash Super Sports.
