Frazer Nash Race
Frazer Nashes make up some of the Vintage Sports-Car Club’s core of Racing competitors. Whilst it’s fantastic to see these machines pitted up against other marques in mixed grids, spectators can expect a true spectacle of these wild machines in full force in this single-marque Race, expertly co-ordinated by the Frazer Nash Car Club.

Garry Whyte Riley Handicap Race
One of two Handicap Races on the day, the Garry Whyte Handicap Race will see a number of Pre-War Rileys take to the track in this tortoise-and-hare-style event. This bizarre Race will see competitors start the Race with the drop of a Union Flag. Based on the car’s fastest lap time, the drivers will set off in staggered groups with the slowest cars starting the Race and the fastest at the back of the grid. The aim of the Handicap Race is to have all of the cars come across the finish line at the same time. A true spectacle of Vintage motorsport, the Garry Whyte Riley Handicap Race is not to be missed.
Intermarque Race
An ever-popular event at Formula Vintage Race Meetings, this Race pits historic marques against each other in a battle for the fastest marque. To find out the fastest marque, the fastest average speed from the top three competitors of each marque is calculated, with 5mph added to the average speed total per competitor, up to a maximum number of cars per marque. Who will come out top? It’s all to play for...
The Trials Demo
As well as the exciting circuit action, the Vintage Sports-Car Club will also be showcasing some fantastic Vintage car Trialling in the woodlands near the Start/Finish line footbridge. Trialling is a well-loved motorsport discipline within the VSCC, and involves beautiful Pre-War cars being driven up a series of muddy hills in the countryside. Drivers will attempt to climb Hill Sections in their cars, and will score a number of points based on how far they manage to reach. Drivers will be helped out by ‘Bouncers’ who are passengers that bounce within the confines of the car to give more traction and grip as the car ascends the Section. Spectators can enjoy both Vintage cars and motorcycles at this fantastic demonstration over the course of the day.
