Norfolk Tour

 We are looking forward to welcoming VSCC members to North Norfolk’s quiet roads, beautiful landscapes and a route taking in a plethora of WW2 airfields around the county.

 The day starts at the village of Blakeney for breakfast refreshments before heading  Westerly along the coastal ridge to Langham airfield, home of the UK’s premier restorer and operator of classic De-Haviland aircraft and then onto the spectacular Holkham estate, from here we wind our way across the county taking in Egmere, Little Snoring, Docking, Bircham Newton, Sculthorpe, Little Massingham and West Raynham airfields, we then cross the A1065 and sweep South East under Fakenham, into the Sennowe Estate for a lunch stop in the magnificent grounds.  

 We then head South to Swanton Morley, Hockering and Weston Green, heading North up to Oulton, and Matlask before heading back upto Sheringham picking up the coast road back westbound via Weybourne airfield and back to Blakeney for tea, cakes and medals. The route is not finalised yet but it is travelling some of the best vintage driving roads the UK has to offer, in addition for those with trailers we can offer a secure trailer drop for members during the event and overnight at no cost.
