Lancashire Tour
15 Jun 2025

The Lancashire Tour will take 'Vintagents' along magnificent driving roads as they explore the beautiful, little known countryside of the County Palatine. Based at Garstang Golf Club the route firstly heads east through glorious scenery taking in the picturesque village of Chipping, before heading north through the spectacular Trough of Bowland. Tourists will find the 'secret valley' of Littledale before a lunch halt at a country tearoom, that welcomes car clubs, in the Lune valley. After lunch the Tour crosses the Lune and explores the delightful pastoral landscape to the north. Returning over the river the route traverses more fell roads before a late afternoon serving of traditional Lancashire hotpot back at the golf club.
The full route
is 90 miles. There is also a shorter route of 70 miles which would be an option
for those in slower cars. A number of other clubs are invited to join us. We
anticipate a wide range of cars on the event - from Edwardians to
Historics.
The Lancashire
Tour guarantees super surroundings, great roads and a warm welcome. Why not
make your trip into a short break? There are a number of hotels in the area,
one of which is offering advantageous rates for the weekend. For further
details please contact Martin Jelley on 07757 812703 or m.jelley145@btinternet.com or Richard Prest on rbprest54@gmail.com or 07740 815296. Do come and join us
