This will now be run as a scatter rally where entrants can either follow a self-selected route to reach a selection of clue points, at which information has to be collected and recorded. There is no timing other than a maximum time limit. An estimated distance of 60 miles will be required to visit 75% of the clue points making up the event.
Entrants can also be provided with a marked-up map showing the location of all the clue points with a suggested route, allowing them to treat the event as a tour; thus while the OS map is not essential, one might well prove useful.
