Scottish Tour

This year the VSCC`s Scottish Weekend will be based on
the Mabie House Hotel, outside Dumfries, with the Saturday Tour exploring the
Dumfries countryside north of the town. Back at the Hotel at 6:00pm, Dr. Nina Baker will
talk to us about a little known, but significant woman engineer.
This will be followed by the
Tour Dinner (3 courses, 3 menu choices each course plus coffee) - details will
be sent to all entrants. On the Sunday there will be a light-hearted
Treasure Hunt finishing at The Devils Porridge Museum.

Accommodation: All the rooms in the Mabie House Hotel have now been booked for participants in the weekend but there is plenty of alternative B&B accommodation in and around (5 miles away) such as the Holiday Inn at the Crichton or the Premier Inn on the Dumfries bypass with more available at booking.com.
