Dan England Award Winner

The DAN ENGLAND AWARD is the Club's young marshal award and the recipient is selected by the Club Office and Senior Officials. The recipient must be under 23 years of age on 1 January of the year in question but need not be a member of the VSCC.

VSCC joins the ASSOCIATION of Heritage Engineers

The Vintage Sports-Car Club is delighted to announce that the Club has joined the Association of Heritage Engineers and looks forward to developing this relationship and working more closely with other members of the Association.
Club President Jenny Lees said “This is a marvellous opportunity to start sharing our knowledge with the engineers of tomorrow.”

VSCC - All Set For The 64th Pomeroy Trophy This Weekend.

This year’s Pomeroy Trophy sees the 64th edition of this historic event take to the Grand Prix Circuit at Silverstone having attracted 110 entrants all ready to take on a series of tests, including the famous ‘Wiggle Woggle’.
Amongst the eclectic group of entrants is a 1920 E-type (the oldest car running in this year’s event), a 1934 Aston Martin Mark IIL, a 1956 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider and a 2017 Citroen C1.

Don Grose Trophy Winner

The DON GROSE Trophy is awarded to the person with the highest annual score accumulated for marshalling at Trials, Rallies and Driving Tests. It is the wish of Thelma that this trophy may be won only once by any Marshal. Each event marshalled attracts 25 points.

Jim Adams Trophy Winners

The JIM ADAMS MEMORIAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the
person with the highest points score accumulated for marshalling at
any main VSCC event, both speed and non-speed. The list of eligible
events are published annually. Marshalling on each day of an event
will score one point. The trophy may be won more than once by the
same individual.

New Years Driving Tests 2019

It is 80 years since the circuit was last used for racing but on Sunday 27 January 54 pre-war cars converged on Brooklands to take part in the VSCC New Year`s Driving tests bringing motorsport back to the historic concrete. Kevin Lee and his team laid out 12 tests all named after historic marques.

The winner of the Johnny Holmes Memorial Trophy is selected by the Club Office for good work in support of the Club’s sporting activities. As such, it could be awarded for many things, but often it recognises an act of determination to overcome obstacles that might otherwise affect the Club’s activities.

David Payne Memorial Trophy Winner

The DAVID PAYNE MEMORIAL TROPHY is awarded to the person
with the highest annual score accumulated for Race and Speed
marshalling at Club events.
It is the wish of the Payne family that this trophy may be won only once
by any Marshal. The marshalling points have been standardized so that
each event now scores 25 points.
