Derbyshire Tour
06 Mar 2016
Ashover, Derbyshire
To round off a fantastic weekend of Vintage car motoring why not take part in the Derbyshire Tour? For Triallists this will give you a chance perhaps to wind down after Saturday's excitement, so why not take advantage! The feedback from the past Tour participants has been excellent.
Starting from Ashover village at 9.00am, we aim to take you through the back roads of the Peak District so you can see our beautiful county from a different perspective. We have two stunning routes planned, a long and a short one, enabling those who need to get away early to do so. As we are in the heart of Industrial Revolution country, we have included a visit to one of the region’s historic sites – Leawood Pumphouse on the Cromford Canal - and of course there will be ample opportunity to take refreshment at the many hostelries en route.
Trial Competitors and road cars are all welcome (and Classic cars by arrangement). For more information about the day, please contact organiser John Higgs on 07887 420831 or higgsclan@aol.com.
Spectator info: No Dogs • Parking
Competitor info: Edwardian • Vintage • Post-Vintage • No MSA Licence • No Buff Form required
