Formula Vintage - Round 4 - Mallory Park

We are delighted to once again be returning to Mallory Park in 2017 for our hallowed Bob Gerard Memorial Trophies. The Leicestershire venue is a firm favourite within the VSCC Race calendar, down to its grass roots feeling and superb corners that encourage top quality racing, with some exciting additions to the Club’s traditional programme of races, with our celebrated Edwardian Race sure to be the highlight of the day.
The unique event – the only one of its kind in the world – regularly attracts a capacity grid of international Pre-1918 machinery, with almost all taking part over 100 years old. In addition to the track action, Club Principal Associates, Bonhams, will also be supporting the day with an impressive period display in the Paddock, with all the competing cars on show alongside other fine examples from this pioneering era of motor racing.

Aside from the exciting action on track, ‘Formula Vintage’ will again offer the Spectator all that is great about attending a VSCC Race Meeting, with free access to the Paddock, where you can get up-close to the cars and drivers.
The day will also feature onsite catering facilities, Trade Village and much more ‘Vintage’ entertainment for the whole family (see below for more details).
Advance ticket sales for this event have now closed. Tickets will be available to buy on the day at £12.00 per person.
Children under 16 go free.
TIMETABLE (approx)
Practice begins at 9.00am with Racing commencing after the Lunch Break at 1.00pm.
VSCC MEMBERS’ LOUNGE & FREE PROGRAMME
Club Members will be able to enjoy exclusive access to a Members’ Lounge on the day, with a cash tea/coffee and snack facility (upon production of your 2017 VSCC Membership Card).
Club Members can also claim a free Programme upon production of their 2017 VSCC Membership Card at the Club Display in the Paddock (£5 value).
PARKING & PRE-WAR CONCOURS
Parking onsite is free for all. Those attending in their Pre-war cars will be directed to the dedicated Pre-war Car Park, with every car entered into a free ‘Concours’ competition.
FOOD & OFF-TRACK ENTERTAINMENT
The Paddock Diner will be open throughout the day offering the usual fare of hot/cold food & drinks.
There will also arrange plenty of additional Vintage-themed family entertainment to further enhance the nostalgic festival atmosphere of this year’s event.

From the M1 junction 21 and M69 junction 3, follow the B4114 towards Narborough. At the first island turn right onto the B582 signposted Enderby and follow this road to the junction with the A47. Turn left at the traffic lights and follow the brown tourist information signs to reach the circuit.
